THE PERSPECTIVE OF SOLIDARITY MINING

The efficacy of the power of #solidarity can be pragmatically dropped into the logic of a #mining project.
It means embracing the challenges of today's #market in order to establish an economically productive environment based on the enhancement of #human relations between actors within the natural resource, allowing the respect and protection of the environment through the pursuit of social goals.
🛠 A #mine is, first and foremost, a source of #valuablematerials, but at the same time it can be designed to create added value as a source of #social and #cultural opportunities.
🇮🇹 Being #Italian, the idea of solidarity is central to my cultural formation. Article No. 2 of the Constitution of the Italian Republic recognizes and guarantees as a fundamental law of the State "the inviolable rights of the person, as an individual and in the social groups where human personality is expressed and expects that the fundamental duties of political, economic and social solidarity be fulfilled".
When I look at this constitutional right through the eyes of a #minegeologist, I grasp its full relevance and importance. For the ongoing rush for #criticalminerals will increasingly affect small communities in the affected localities, and the need for a sustainable energy #transition could increase social inequality rather than reduce it.
💡 In light of this background, it becomes critical to create shared value behind the useful life of the mine by optimizing the hashtag#valuechain. This means adopting a mining hashtag#mindset that sees the human value of miners at the centre, demonstrating that the business can create value by being people-centred in management and operations.
It is not always necessary to conceive of economic minerals as simply valuable elements, but by changing the #pointofview, these elements can be a useful "means" in the hands of mining companies to #encourage and #promote a broader humanistic perspective, which sees the growth of human beings and the socio-economic development of mining communities at the centre of the value chain.
📍 I like to place what I mean by #SolidarityMine in this operational context. I strongly believe in the power of the Solidarity Mine as a primary source capable of generating, through small changes, a reaction in the #valuechain that can trigger a cascade of #positive actions. This makes it possible to #transform the risk and pressure of the new energy perspective into opportunities for socio-economic development.
🤝 The #challenge is to be convinced that #sustainability is not just a word but a #science that must be practiced in the interest of all. It is clear that in the mining context the pathways towards #operationalsustainability are complex, but it is also clear that in this same context the #frenetic pursuit of #sustainabledevelopment generates strong economic-social pressures if mismanaged, with obvious damage to the local #culture and
